Sustainability Scholars: mentorship and applied research for University of Alberta graduate students.

Sustainability Scholars

Sustainability Scholars sponsors University of Alberta graduate students to work on applied research projects with the City of Edmonton and the University of Alberta. Successful applicants work with professional mentors to complete 250 hour projects between May 1 and August 15, 2017.

Each position is paid up to $6,250 and has the opportunity to make tangible, sustainable change in the way the city operates.

This summer, Sustainability Scholars will be filling 18 positions with the City of Edmonton and the University of Alberta. The applications below are closed, but are made available for reference.


Sustainability Scholars is sponsored by the City of Edmonton, the University of Alberta’s Office of the Provost, the Office of Sustainability and the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research. It is administered by the University of Alberta Career Centre.
