One Simple Act on Campus Residence Challenge, February 6 to 26, 2017.

Residence Challenge

With One Simple Act on Campus, small changes can reap big rewards. Commit to living green by saving energy, conserving water and reducing waste. Your sustainable behaviour will help the planet, people—and give your residence a chance to win a great prize!

How To Compete

  1. Compete by committing to adopt a new sustainable behaviour. Choose one from the One Simple Act on Campus checklist. Your new behaviour can be as simple as using reusable bags instead of plastic, switching off the lights before you leave a room or cutting down on water use.

Then, talk to your Resident Assistant to fill out a commitment card or take this online survey.

Encourage all of your neighbours to join in the challenge too! The closer you get to 100% participation on your floor, the better your chances of winning.

  2. Want to earn bonus points? Take a selfie with your commitment card (either individually or as a group with others on your floor). Share it with @greenuofa on TwitterFacebook or Instagram with the hashtag #reschallenge. Each person with a commitment card in the photo will be counted as one bonus point to the floor of whoever submits the photo.
