Five ways to contribute

The Office of Sustainability is looking for volunteers with a wide range of skills and interests. This year, there will be the following teams: 

  • Campus Saint-Jean volunteers will work on sustainability initiatives at Campus Saint-Jean Communications volunteers will write news and make short videos 
  • Green Spaces volunteers will help offices and events adopt sustainability 
  • Outreach volunteers will help throw events and promote activities

From our campus to our communities, University of Alberta alumni are committed to doing great things through volunteerism. Alumni can get involved in many sustainability initiatives, from supporting events like the Sustainability Speaker Series, to sharing your sustainability story, to providing mentorship and advice to students, to getting involved in the delivery of projects like Eco Move Out. The Office of Sustainability works directly with the Office of Alumni Relations to make opportunities available to alumni.

Staff & Faculty

Working year round at the university provides you with unique opportunities when it comes to sustainability.
