As part of the University of Alberta's commitment to sustainability, sustainability-related and sustainability-focused courses are identified on our website. The University of Alberta offers over 650 courses that are directly or indirectly linked to the ecological, environmental, social, and cultural facets of sustainability. A similar number of faculty are currently engaged in sustainability-related research.
The University of Alberta is a charter member of the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System™ (STARS).
