SAW 2015

The eighth annual Sustainability Awareness Week ran from October 21 to 25, 2015. The week was chock-a-block full of amazing events, tours, workshops and incredible sustainability learning. 9,746 connections were made at 53 events hosted by 53 student groups, campus and community organizations.

Highlights from SAW 2015

  • MacEwan University participated by hosting the launch of Earth Common Journal's latest issue.
  • The EcoCar team held a sustainability design charette for other students from all disciplines.
  • An alumna gave a tour of her co-creation, the Mosaic Centre, Alberta's first net-zero energy commercial building.
  • The Landing raised awareness of asexual orientation with a Cake Day celebration.
